Guro District

Guro is a district in southwestern Seoul featuring residential neighborhoods, commercial centers, industrial facilities, and parks across relatively flat terrain. The area combines traditional low-rise structures with modern office buildings and technology centers distributed throughout its zones.

Established as a separate district in 1980 after division from Yeongdeungpo, Guro underwent rapid transformation during South Korea's period of industrial growth. What began as a textile manufacturing center evolved into a major hub for technology companies and digital innovation.
