Boramae Park

Boramae Park is a public space spanning Dongjak and Gwanak districts with diverse recreation options for visitors. The grounds feature sports fields, walking paths, a swimming pool, a designated dog park, and a small zoo.

The site once served as home to the Korean Air Force Academy before Seoul's government converted it into a public park. This transformation shifted the location from a military institution to a space for civilian recreation.

The park displays airplane sculptures in its aviation section that serve as reminders of its military past. These models help visitors understand the site's former role in training air force personnel.

The East Gate is about 69 meters (226 feet) from Exit 1 of Boramae Medical Center Station on the Sillim Line. The grounds are open to visitors 24 hours daily throughout the year.

The park features a dedicated dog park where pet owners can allow their animals to play in a secure area. Additionally, a small zoo section offers visitors the chance to observe various animals within the grounds.
