D-Cube City, Mixed-use complex in Sindorim, Seoul, South Korea
D-Cube City is a mixed-use building in Sindorim combining offices, shops, and entertainment spaces across multiple levels. The structure rises 51 floors above ground with 8 basement levels, housing restaurants, hotels, and retail stores.
The site was once a coal processing plant owned by Daesung Industries before transforming into a modern urban development. Construction finished in 2011, converting former industrial land into a mixed-use complex.
The building houses a performance hall seating roughly 1,200 people and a smaller event space that hosts theatrical productions and concerts throughout the year.
The building connects directly to Sindorim Station, making it easy to reach by public transport. Inside, multiple levels offer shopping and dining options along with public areas where visitors can spend time.
During construction, a rare frog species was discovered on the site, leading to the creation of a dedicated ecology park within the complex. The park was specifically designed to protect this endangered species and remains part of the grounds today.
