Lithuania National Stadium

The Lithuania National Stadium is a sports complex in Vilnius featuring a main stadium building alongside training facilities and supporting infrastructure. The site includes areas dedicated to athletic activities and spectator accommodations across its expansive grounds.

The project was first conceived in 1987 but faced a lengthy halt following economic difficulties in the early 1990s. Development resumed in phases after this period of suspension.

The complex includes plans for a 1,600-square-meter library and conference halls that will accommodate 1,500 people for educational and community activities.

The site remains under construction with limited visitor access to certain areas. It is best to check current conditions before planning a visit since work continues on the grounds.

The complex is designed to house a kindergarten for roughly 300 children, merging athletic facilities with educational spaces. This blended approach makes it an unusual model combining professional sports with childcare.
