The parish community began in 1993 worshipping in an unfinished cultural house building before relocating to the current modern structure, which was consecrated in December 2009. This move represented a major milestone for the growing Catholic community in the city.

The wooden Stations of the Cross carved by priest Antanas Rimavičius decorate the walls and blend traditional Lithuanian and Latvian folk art styles. These handcrafted works shape how visitors experience the interior space and connect the sacred setting to regional artistic traditions.
