The Municipal Park extends across 30 hectares of green space, featuring winding paths, open lawns, and carefully arranged gardens throughout the grounds.
Following the Treaty of London in 1867, landscape engineer Édouard André transformed the former military fortification grounds into this public park in 1871.
The Kinnekswiss section of the park hosts numerous outdoor concerts, festivals, and public gatherings throughout the seasonal calendar of Luxembourg City.
The park provides access points from Avenue Marie-Thérèse and Avenue de la Porte-Neuve, with multiple public transportation connections near its entrances.
Within the park grounds, visitors can explore the preserved Redouit Lambert fortification structure, which connects to the city's military heritage.
