Island Bridge is a steel crossing spanning 1795 meters across the Daugava River in Riga with a width of 24 meters. It connects different parts of the city and provides access to the islands of Zaķusala and Lucavsala within the river.
The structure opened on December 10, 1976, during Soviet-era infrastructure development in Latvia. Following the country's independence in 1991, it received its current name.
