Archaeological Museum of Tétouan

The Archaeological Museum of Tétouan contains collections of Roman statues, ceramics, ancient coins, and architectural fragments from regional excavations.

Established in 1940, the museum preserves artifacts from the third century BC when the area was known as Tamouda until the Roman occupation in 42 AD.

The museum houses sixty thousand volumes of North African literature and displays numerous artifacts representing Berber traditions and regional customs.

Located in central Tétouan, the museum offers guided tours in multiple languages and maintains regular exhibitions of pre-Islamic and Islamic period collections.

The entrance features The Three Graces, a Roman mosaic depicting mythological figures, alongside a notable Sumerian statue discovered near Asilah.
