Dar Adiyel

Dar Adiyel is a mansion in the medina of Fez featuring a central courtyard with a fountain and detailed stucco decorations throughout. The building spans two floors with four rooms on each level, connected by decorated galleries that form the heart of the residence.

The mansion dates to the period before French colonial rule, but in 1912 it became the headquarters of the Service des Arts indigènes. This institution focused on documenting and preserving Moroccan heritage during the Protectorate era.

The mansion operates as a music conservatory where traditional performances take place during the World Sacred Music Festival. Visitors can sense how music and heritage blend within these decorated rooms.
