Nativity of the Theotokos and St. Petka Church, Orthodox church in Ohrid, North Macedonia
The Nativity of the Theotokos and St. Petka Church is a three-aisled stone basilica with a western extension located in Ohrid. Its interior is decorated with marble and wooden carved details, notably on the ornate iconostasis.
The current building replaced a medieval church in 1809 after Ottoman authorities permitted its construction. Its consecration took place in 1835.
The church once housed a monastic school in its courtyard that later developed into the Bulgarian Pedagogical School of Skopje. This educational center became significant for the region's cultural development during the 1800s.

Master builder Damjan Jankulov died during construction, and his sons completed the work under the guidance of Andrey Damyanov. This unexpected transition shows how family involvement continued across generations in major building projects.
