Mandalarthiri Stadium

Mandalarthiri Stadium is a multi-purpose sports facility in Mandalay with a grass pitch and separate indoor arena hosting various events. The complex sits between 68th and 73rd streets, adjacent to the Mandalay Football Academy.

Construction of the complex began in January 2011 and finished in November 2013 to host the Southeast Asian Games. The facility was built to serve as a modern sports center supporting national and international competitions.

The complex blends modern sports facilities with traditional Lethwei, the Burmese martial art regularly performed here. Visitors can observe how local fighters practice this ancient combat discipline within contemporary training spaces.

The stadium offers parking facilities and has good access via public transportation. Visitors experience the venue best during sporting events when the full complex is active.

The stadium serves as home ground for Yadanarbon Football Club while also hosting international Lethwei fights in its specialized indoor arena. This dual purpose makes it significant for both modern football and traditional combat sports in the region.
