Kyauksein Pagoda, Buddhist pagoda in Amarapura, Myanmar.
The Kyauksein Pagoda stands 75 feet tall and features an exterior completely covered with more than 10,000 tons of jade stones.
The construction of this religious monument began in November 2012 and reached completion with the umbrella-hoisting ceremony on June 5, 2015.
The stone inscriptions within the pagoda contain detailed recordings of religious texts, royal decrees, and multiple aspects of Myanmar's traditions.
Located on the outskirts of Amarapura in the Mandalay Region, the pagoda maintains regular visiting hours for both religious practitioners and tourists.
This structure holds the distinction of being the first pagoda in the world constructed using jade as its primary exterior material.
