The two-story Villa Roseville features floral sculpted window surrounds and painted motifs on its polychrome facade, displaying North Italian architectural influences.
The construction occurred in two phases, with architect Alessandro Manara completing the ground floor in 1912 and Emanuele Borg adding the first floor in 1921.
The interior decorations incorporate Egyptian-inspired patterns and motifs, reflecting the prevalent design trends of the early twentieth century in European architecture.
The building now functions as a retirement home operated by CareMalta, providing accommodation with air-conditioned rooms and 24-hour nursing care for elderly residents.
The villa stands as one of the rare examples of Art Nouveau architecture in Malta, exhibiting design elements similar to those found in Brussels and Central Europe.
