Nieuwe Meer

Nieuwe Meer is a small settlement along the Ringvaart canal, positioned between Amsterdam's expansion and the Haarlemmermeer municipality. The area features a mix of residential buildings, open green spaces, and water channels that shape its layout.

The settlement developed in the 19th century when the Badhoeve farm introduced new farming methods in the reclaimed Haarlemmermeer area. This agricultural heritage shaped how the area emerged and grew during that period.
