Kasteel Rosande, Medieval castle ruins in Oosterbeek, Netherlands.

Located at the foot of the Veluwe in river meadows, Kasteel Rosande covers an area of 34 by 29 meters with an eight-meter-wide moat.

First mentioned in 1313 under Gosewijn van Rijsande ownership, the castle endured multiple reconstructions until French troops destroyed it permanently in 1672.

Archaeological studies in 1939 revealed remaining floor sections, leading to the placement of a commemorative castle banner at the historical site.

During high water periods, the castle location becomes visible from above as water fills the ancient moat structure in the Rosandepolder.

The castle's foundations remain protected as an archaeological monument, with traces still recognizable in the current landscape of Renkum municipality.
