Sint-Pieter boven

The church features a neo-Gothic cruciform basilica design with a heavy tower supported by buttresses and an octagonal spire with four smaller towers.

Construction of Sint-Pieter boven began in 1872 and concluded in 1875, replacing a previous church that stood in the Maas valley until 1748.

The interior contains a mechanical organ from 1850, originally from Abbenbroek church, along with stained glass windows depicting scenes from Saint Peter's life.

The church deviates from traditional orientation patterns, with its choir facing west instead of the conventional eastern direction found in most churches.
