Hulstkamp Gebouw

Hulstkamp Gebouw is a historical industrial structure on Noordereiland featuring red brick walls and bands of natural stone along its exterior. The interior preserves original tilework and cast iron columns that support a glass-vaulted ceiling, with bronze decorative elements marking the facade.

Built between 1889 and 1895 as a margarine production facility, the structure changed purpose when a new company took control in 1919 and converted it into a distillery. This shift marked a transition in the area's industrial function.

The stained glass windows throughout the interior depict scenes from industrial work and craftsmanship of earlier times. These artistic elements reflect how the building's past shaped its visual character and meaning for the neighborhood.
