Gressbanen

Gressbanen is a football stadium in Holmen featuring a main field measuring 105 by 65 meters (344 by 213 feet). The pitch switches between artificial grass for summer football and converts into an ice rink during the winter season.

The stadium opened in 1918 as Norway's second grass pitch facility. It quickly became an important venue for the national team, hosting several international matches during the early 1900s.

The venue serves as the home ground for IF Ready and hosts numerous local teams for training and matches. It functions as a gathering place for the surrounding community to come together for football.

The facility is equipped with modern floodlights that allow evening and night events throughout the year. The spectator capacity accommodates around 2,000 people with good sightlines from the stands.

The venue once attracted a remarkably large crowd for a single international match that drew spectators far beyond its normal capacity. This record demonstrates how popular the location was during its early decades.
