Kjeragbolten is a massive boulder wedged between two cliff faces at roughly 1110 meters elevation. From this spot, views extend across Lysefjord and the surrounding mountain ranges.
The boulder was positioned between the cliffs during the last Ice Age by massive glacial movements. These ancient ice processes shaped the entire mountain landscape and left this distinctive stone where it rests today.
