Østfoldbadet

The facility contains multiple swimming areas including a 25-meter main pool, wave pool, play pool, and hot pool with depths ranging from 1.5 to 3.8 meters.

King Harald V inaugurated Østfoldbadet on December 16, 2000, marking the first royal visit to Askim since 1964, following a construction period that cost 62.5 million Norwegian krone.

The water park addresses diverse swimming customs by accommodating visitors from various cultural backgrounds who prefer different bathing attire preferences.

The facility maintains specific operating hours, with early morning openings at 06:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while entry prices start at 156 NOK for children and 206 NOK for adults.

The complex features four diving boards at different heights, ranging from 1 meter to 5 meters, complemented by both wet and dry saunas for visitor comfort.
