The Lopez Heritage House spans 4 hectares with ornate carved columns, pilasters, and a central hexagonal dining table beneath a fifteen-foot chandelier.
Built in 1928 by Don Vicente Lopez and Elena Hofileña, the mansion narrowly escaped destruction during World War II when Filipino guerrillas attempted to burn it.
The National Historical Institute designated this Beaux-Arts style residence as a National Heritage House on March 28, 2004, recognizing its architectural importance.
The mansion opens its doors for public tours and events, allowing visitors to explore the grand interiors and extensive grounds of this historical landmark.
Governor-Generals Frank Murphy and Teddy Roosevelt Jr, along with former First Lady Imelda Marcos, attended significant political meetings at this residence.
