U.P.–Ayala Land TechnoHub, Information technology park in Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City, Philippines
The U.P.-Ayala Land TechnoHub is a technology park in Quezon City with office buildings, retail spaces, and landscaped green areas. A man-made lagoon sits at the center, creating a focal point around which the facilities are arranged.
The park resulted from a collaboration between the University of the Philippines and Ayala Land, approved by the Philippine Economic Zone Authority in 2009. This partnership was designed to bring academic and commercial technology development together.
The site brings university researchers and commercial technology workers together in one location. Visitors notice how academic spaces and modern offices exist side by side, reflecting this partnership.
The site has ample parking and several restaurants and cafés scattered throughout. Public transportation and taxis connect the park to other parts of the city.
IBM opened its second Southeast Asian Innovation Center here, confirming the location as a major technology hub. This recognition brought international attention and investment to the region.
