Casa Hacienda de Naic, Colonial building in Naic, Philippines
The Casa Hacienda de Naic stands as a substantial stone structure with architectural elements typical of 19th-century Philippine colonial agricultural administration centers.
Built around 1830 by Dominican priests, the Casa Hacienda hosted the Naic Assembly of 1897 where Emilio Aguinaldo formed his government during the Philippine Revolution.
The building represents the agricultural heritage of Cavite province, initially serving as housing for overseers and workers of the Hacienda de San Isidro Labrador.
The Casa Hacienda de Naic now functions as part of Naic Elementary School while maintaining its status as a National Historical Site with a marker from 1998.
This structure remains the only existing friar-administered casa hacienda in the Philippines that continues to serve an active purpose in the present day.
