Krasnystaw County, Administrative district in Lublin Voivodeship, Poland.
Krasnystaw County is an administrative district in eastern Poland that encompasses ten local government units with the city of Krasnystaw serving as its main center. The territory combines urban development in the capital with a network of rural and smaller settlements throughout the region.
The county was established as part of a nationwide administrative reform that took effect on January 1, 1999. This reorganization reshaped local government structures throughout Poland and created the modern district boundaries we see today.
The region maintains multiple administrative centers spread across its territory, integrating both urban development in Krasnystaw city and rural traditions in surrounding communities.
The district is served by a network of local government offices where residents and visitors can handle administrative matters and get information. Vehicle registration plates from this area display the LKS code, making them identifiable throughout the country.
The area is surrounded by five neighboring counties that form a ring around it: Zamość, Biłgoraj, Lublin, Świdnik, and Chełm. This position makes it a crossroads between different parts of the eastern region.
