Polish Army Museum, Military museum in Śródmieście, Warsaw, Poland.
The Polish Army Museum displays over 3,000 military artifacts across 2,700 square meters in its new location at the Warsaw Citadel.
Founded in 1920 by Marshal Józef Piłsudski's decree, the museum initially opened at Podwale Street before moving to its current Citadel location in 2023.
The exhibition presents Polish military heritage through collections of weapons, uniforms, paintings, and equipment from different historical periods spanning 1000 years.
The museum organizes its collections into five thematic modules, covering periods from the 10th century through modern times with dedicated halls for temporary exhibitions.
The entrance door frame preserves a burned inscription from World War II when the building served as an SS warehouse during the German occupation.
