Blue Palace, Palace in Senatorska Street, Warsaw, Poland
The Blue Palace features a rectangular shape with side wings extending to Senatorska Street and displays classical architectural elements across its three floors.
In 1726, King Augustus II of Poland acquired the palace and ordered its reconstruction by Saxon architects for his daughter Anna Orzelska.
The palace became the residence of the Zamoyski family in 1811, hosting concerts by Frederic Chopin and providing workspace for writer Stefan Żeromski.
The building stands empty since 2011, with the Jewish Theater operating temporarily in one wing and a restaurant occupying part of another wing.
The palace received its name from the blue metal sheets covering its mansard roof, installed during the 1807 renovation works.
