Prawobrzeże, Administrative district in Szczecin, Poland.
Prawobrzeże is an administrative district on the eastern side of Szczecin that encompasses Lake Dąbie and eleven residential neighborhoods. The area blends apartment blocks with parks, waterfront zones, and smaller commercial areas.
The district took shape as an official administrative entity in 1990 during Szczecin's reorganization into four main districts. Parts of the area, particularly around Lake Dąbie, trace their foundations back several centuries.
Residents use the area primarily as a residential zone with green spaces woven into daily routines. The eleven neighborhoods each maintain their own local character and sense of community.
The best time to explore is during daytime hours when shops and public facilities are open. Tram and bus services connect the different neighborhoods with each other and to the city center.
The area is home to a rare railway drawbridge over the Regalica River, a technical relic that visitors can still see in operation. Near the Dąbie neighborhood, remnants of 13th-century defensive walls survive and offer insight into the city's early fortifications.
