Sanktuarium Matki Bożej Fatimskiej w Szczecinie

Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima in Szczecin is a church complex with a chapel and residential buildings in the Słoneczne district, centered around a Marian sanctuary. The site includes several interconnected spaces serving various religious purposes and daily functions.

Construction of the sanctuary was completed in 1988 as a sign of gratitude for Pope John Paul II's survival after an assassination attempt. Its creation during this period connects the place to a significant moment in church history.

The name and focus on Fatima reflect a widespread devotion that draws many visitors to this place. You regularly see pilgrims and believers gathering to pray and practice their faith here.

Regular masses take place throughout the week, and you can visit any time to pray the rosary and see the site. From May to October, additional Fatima services are held that welcome visitors.

The marble altar and altar elements were designed by Krakow artist Czeslaw Dzwigaj, while stained glass windows by Bruno Tode depict scenes from Fatima. These crafted elements shape the interior and show the artistic skill put into the design.
