Sanktuarium Matki Bożej Fatimskiej w Szczecinie, Catholic sanctuary in Szczecin, Poland.
The Sanctuary of Our Lady of Fatima consists of a church, chapel, and residential buildings located in the Słoneczne district of Szczecin.
The construction of the sanctuary, completed in 1988, served as a testament of gratitude for Pope John Paul II's survival after an assassination attempt.
The sanctuary contains a 120-centimeter wooden statue of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, created in Fatima as a gift from the Blue Army of Mary.
From May to October, the sanctuary conducts monthly Fatima services, with regular masses, rosary sessions, and administrative services available throughout the week.
The marble altar and altar superstructure were designed by Krakow artist Czesław Dźwigaj, while local artist Bruno Tode created stained glass windows depicting Fatima mysteries.
