Trzebieszowice, Rural settlement in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland
Trzebieszowice is a village set in the southwestern part of Lower Silesia, spread across gently rolling terrain. The settlement sits in an elevated landscape several kilometers from the regional centers of Lądek-Zdrój and Kłodzko.
The village was first documented in 1269 and developed a Renaissance palace that belonged to the Reichenbach family before experiencing the upheaval of the Thirty Years' War. Like much of the region, it was shaped by conflicts and territorial changes during that era.
The village palace displays Vienna-influenced baroque style with carved wooden paneling and neoclassical ornaments, reflecting the tastes of local nobility. The family coats of arms visible throughout the rooms tell stories of the landowners who shaped the area for generations.
The village is easily reached via roads that lead to nearby Kłodzko and Lądek-Zdrój, making road access straightforward. The journey through the rolling landscape connects well with the wider regional transportation network.
The palace gardens date back before 1720 and feature a thoughtful layout with flower beds and summer gardens separated by hedges in four distinct sections. This geometric arrangement reflects the baroque preference for order and symmetry.
