Gubałówka

Gubałówka is a mountain summit near Zakopane at roughly 1,100 meters elevation. From the top, you can see the Tatra Mountains and the surrounding landscape, which changes with the seasons and time of day.

A funicular railway was built in 1938, making the summit easily accessible to people from the town below. Since then, it has become a place where many people travel to spend time in the mountains.

During winter, an ice rink operates at the summit, which surprises many visitors who don't expect skating at this altitude. The space transforms into a venue for summer concerts and events when the weather warms up.
