Silesian Park, Recreational park in Chorzów, Poland.
The park covers 620 hectares of land with extensive walking paths, gardens, ponds, and more than 3.5 million trees throughout the grounds.
General Jerzy Ziętek initiated the transformation of damaged industrial sites into green spaces during the 1950s, leading to the park's establishment.
The Museum of Upper Silesian Ethnographic Park within the grounds presents traditional village structures and agricultural equipment from past centuries.
Multiple entrances around the perimeter provide access to the park's facilities, with dedicated public transportation stops near primary attractions.
The Elka cable car system, recognized as Europe's longest lowland railroad, connects different sections while providing elevated views of the park grounds.
