Kapelusz is a modern exhibition hall in the family park featuring a distinctive hat-shaped roof supported by steel arches. The interior is spanned by these arches and configured with entrance areas and auxiliary pavilions for services.
The building was designed and constructed in 1968 as an innovative architectural project. It was completely rebuilt following a major fire that occurred in the early 1980s.
The hall hosts rotating exhibitions that draw visitors from across the region throughout the year. Its distinctive silhouette has become a recognizable part of the park's landscape for people who visit regularly.
The hall is easy to access from the park grounds and clearly marked. Restroom facilities and service areas are located within the building for visitor convenience.
The tent-like roof is created by stretching a membrane over steel arch support structures, which was an innovative building technique when it was first constructed. This method allowed for an open interior space without intermediate columns.
