Diabelska pętla, Steel roller coaster in Legendia amusement park, Chorzów, Poland.
Diabelska Pętla is a steel roller coaster at Legendia amusement park with two vertical loops along a track system reaching about 20 meters high. The ride travels through a coal mine setting and lasts roughly 90 seconds from start to finish.
This ride began operating at Lightwater Valley in England during 1988 and closed in 1994. It eventually found a home at Legendia in Poland, where it has been running since 2007.
The name Diabelska Pętla means Devil's Loop in Polish, drawing from local folklore traditions. Visitors see these themes woven into the ride's coal mine and witch-inspired design throughout the circuit.
Riders must be at least 140 centimeters tall and 10 years old to board. The full circuit lasts about 90 seconds and includes two inversions that affect all passengers.
The back row features an unusual seating layout where passengers face each other: one pair rides forward while another pair rides backward. This setup creates a different experience for the final row throughout the entire course.
