Rydzyna, Historical municipality in Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poland
Rydzyna is a city in Greater Poland Voivodeship centered around a Baroque castle featuring four wings and corner towers. Surrounding the Market Square are 18th-century tenement buildings that together with the parish church form a cohesive architectural ensemble.
The castle was built in the 17th century and served as a residence for King Stanisław Leszczyński from 1704 to 1709. Russian forces partially destroyed the structure during the Great Northern War.
The Baroque tenement houses surrounding the Market Square form an ensemble with the parish church, designed by Italian architects in the 18th century.

The castle underwent comprehensive restoration after 1970 by Polish Mechanical Engineers, earning recognition across Europe for its preservation work. This reconstruction transformed the building from its deteriorated state into a carefully maintained complex.
