Exaltation of the Holy Cross church in Gliwice

Exaltation of the Holy Cross is a Baroque church featuring white exterior walls accented with stone details, complemented by an adjoining monastery with a four-sided structure and internal courtyard. The architectural complex presents a unified religious ensemble with characteristic elements of the Baroque period.

Reformati Friars established the original structure in 1623, which functioned as their monastic community for nearly three centuries. In 1921, Redemptorist Fathers acquired the property and carried out significant renovation work to adapt it to their needs.

The church serves as a pilgrimage site dedicated to Mary, housing a sacred image of Our Lady of Perpetual Help that draws visitors seeking spiritual connection. The place functions as an active center for Marian devotion within the local Catholic community.
