Piątnica Poduchowna

Piątnica Poduchowna is a rural settlement situated on the banks of the Narew River in Łomża County. The landscape consists mainly of meadows and farmland that extend into the surrounding protected natural area.

The village traces its origins to 1407 when Janusz from Zaborowo founded a church there. This religious establishment became the basis for the area's organized community growth.

The village maintains strong agricultural traditions, with numerous families operating dairy farms that supply milk to the local cooperative production facility.

The village is accessible by road and situated in a rural agricultural region with basic infrastructure. Visitors should expect scattered farm buildings and open countryside rather than a compact settlement.

Russian fortifications from the 19th century still stand in the surrounding area, reflecting the region's strategic importance during that era. These structures date from when the territory was under Russian control and served military purposes.
