Mikstat is a municipality in Greater Poland Voivodeship located in the Ostrzeszów Hills region. The town sits on gently rolling terrain surrounded by farmland and rural landscapes.
The settlement received its city charter in 1366 and later endured two major fires in 1391 and 1478 that devastated the community. King Sigismund III Vasa granted new privileges afterward.
The wooden St. Roch's Church serves as a gathering place where local farmers and animal owners participate in a traditional blessing ceremony each August. This annual event keeps old agricultural traditions alive in the community.
