Torwar Hall, Indoor sports arena in Śródmieście, Warsaw, Poland
Torwar Hall is a multipurpose arena in Warsaw's Śródmieście district that consists of two separate buildings. The main arena seats around 4,800 people, while the second hall features an ice rink.
The facility opened in December 1953 and developed into a major venue in post-war Warsaw. Over the following decades, the hall transformed from a purely sporting ground into a space for large concerts and international gatherings.
The complex serves today as a meeting point for concerts, sporting events, and gatherings in the Polish capital. Local ice hockey teams use the rink regularly, while international artists choose the larger hall for performances.
Visitors will find both halls close together in the central district of the city. Those attending sporting events or concerts should arrive early, as entrances can be busy before events begin.
A choreography room measuring 108 square meters (about 1,160 square feet) sits inside the building and is used for both training sessions and meetings. This room allows athletes to prepare away from the large stands.
