Łazienkowski Bridge

The Łazienkowski Bridge extends 424 meters across the Vistula River, featuring three traffic lanes in each direction along with dedicated cycling paths and pedestrian walkways.

Construction of this major infrastructure project began in 1971, reaching completion in 1974 as part of Warsaw's expanding transportation network during the socialist period.

The bridge acquired its name from the adjacent Łazienki Park, a central recreational space that houses numerous palaces and gardens in the capital city.

The structure accommodates over 95,000 vehicles daily, serving as a primary connection point within Warsaw's downtown ring road system for commuters and travelers.

Two separate gangways installed beneath the bridge sides in 2017 created independent paths for cyclists and pedestrians, increasing safety through traffic separation.
