Łazienkowski Bridge, Steel bridge over Vistula River in Warsaw, Poland

The Łazienkowski Bridge is a steel structure spanning the Vistula River with three traffic lanes in each direction. It also features separate cycling and pedestrian paths running alongside the main roadway.

This crossing was built during the 1970s as Warsaw expanded its transportation infrastructure during the socialist era. Its completion marked an important milestone in connecting different parts of the growing city.

The bridge takes its name from the nearby Łazienki Park, a major recreational area filled with historic palaces and gardens in the city center. This connection links the crossing directly to one of Warsaw's most valued green spaces.

The bridge handles heavy traffic daily and serves as a main connection point in Warsaw's road system. Pedestrians and cyclists should use the designated paths that are separated from car traffic.

In 2017, separate pathways for cyclists and pedestrians were added beneath the bridge structure to keep traffic flows apart. This solution increased safety for all users without altering the main crossing above.
