Rydzewo, Giżycko County

Rydzewo extends along the shores of Lake Niegocin, surrounded by the natural landscapes of the Masurian Lake District in northern Poland.

The village dates back to 1552, with the construction of an Evangelical church completed in 1591, serving as a parish for Polish residents.

The local church, initially built for Evangelical services, transformed into a Roman Catholic establishment in 1945, reflecting the region's religious changes.

Located 9 kilometers south of Giżycko and 86 kilometers east of Olsztyn, Rydzewo offers water equipment rentals and access to Lake Niegocin.

The village population increases significantly during spring and summer seasons when visitors arrive for water activities on Lake Niegocin.
