Park Źródliska in Łódź, Municipal park in Stary Widzew, Łódź, Poland.
Park Źródliska is a municipal park in Stary Widzew covering approximately 17 hectares between Przędzalniana, Fabryczna, Targowa, and Piłsudskiego streets, with native trees and a palm house displaying exotic plants. The park is divided into sections that blend open green spaces with cultivated garden areas.
The park originated in 1840 when forests from Łaznów were integrated into Łódź as the city's first municipal park project. Engineer Brochocki designed it following English landscape principles, establishing a model for the city's green space planning.
The park is part of the historic Księży Młyn complex and surrounded by 19th-century factory and residential buildings that tell the story of the area's industrial past. Visitors can explore a School Botanical Garden that demonstrates how green spaces were preserved within this former manufacturing district.
The area is served by multiple bus lines, and visitors can park at nearby lots near ATLAS ARENA or the Botanical Garden for convenient access. The good transport connections make it easy to visit both sections of the park.
In December 2007, the park received recognition as Poland's most beautiful park in a competition organized by Briggs&Stratton. This award highlighted its importance as an outstanding example of urban green space design and landscape architecture.
