Dunajec River Gorge raft trip - ending point

The Dunajec River Gorge raft trip ending point is a landing area with wooden rafts and a wide slipway with stone steps leading to a paved zone near the riverbank. The site contains equipment storage, changing facilities, and direct access to parking for buses and cars.

This spot marks the end of a 15 kilometer water route that has served as a transportation path between Poland and Slovakia since the 1800s. The route was originally used by raftsmen to move goods downstream.

Local raftsmen wearing traditional Pieniny region clothing help visitors disembark and share stories about the mountain landscapes around them.

The landing area is easy to reach and has plenty of space for changing and returning equipment. Visitors should expect to be wet and bring a change of clothes or use the changing facilities on site.

From this spot, visitors can see both Polish and Slovak territory at once while stepping off the raft, since the border runs very close to the shore. The gorge itself forms a natural boundary between the two countries.
