Górzno-Lidzbark Landscape Park, Nature reserve in Rypin County, Poland.
The Landschaftsschutzpark Görzberg-Lautenburg is a nature reserve in Rypin County with glacial hills, deep valleys, ravines, lakes, and dense forests. The landscape spans multiple administrative regions and offers a varied environment of geological features and wooded areas.
The protected area was established in 1990 to safeguard natural landscapes across three administrative regions. This creation was part of a broader effort to protect natural areas in north-central Poland.
The park contains a restored watermill from 1766 that now serves as a restaurant, showing how historical buildings find new purposes in contemporary settings. Visitors can experience this blend of old architecture with present-day use.
The area features marked hiking trails, cycling routes, and educational paths that make it straightforward to explore the varied landscapes. Lakes Górzno and Piaseczno offer swimming areas during the warmer months and many sections are easily accessible.
The area contains seven nature reserves, including Mszar Płociczno with its peat bogs and rare plant species. Klonowo is a forest section with old trees that have been growing for roughly 190 years, showing natural development.
