Przymorze Wielkie is a residential neighborhood in northern Gdańsk with an area of about 3 square kilometers. The district extends to the Baltic Sea coast and features sandy beaches alongside housing complexes built over several decades.
The district originated from a former church village belonging to the Oliwa abbey before becoming a modern residential area. Throughout the 20th century it was systematically developed as housing for Gdańsk's expanding population.
