Sanktuarium Matki Bożej Królowej Rodzin w Juchnowcu

Sanktuarium Matki Bożej Królowej Rodzin is a Catholic pilgrimage church built of red brick with a distinctive tower added in 1906. Inside, it houses an oil-painted wooden image of the Mother of God adorned with silver and gold decorations.

Construction of the church began in 1764 under Father Jozafat Wołłosowicz, replacing a wooden structure that dated back to 1547. The building was completed in 1788, marking the end of a major phase in the sanctuary's development.

The sanctuary carries the title of Mother of God Queen of Families, a name that reflects the connection between faith and family life. Pilgrims come here to pray before the venerated icon, which is dressed in silver and gold robes.

The sanctuary is most welcoming during regular services, which take place at various times throughout the week and offer visitors a natural rhythm for exploration. Those planning a visit should be prepared for a traditional worship environment and observe pilgrims' customs.

The sanctuary observes its main feast day on July 2, with additional commemorations on September 8 for the Nativity of Mary and March 19 for Saint Joseph. These celebrations draw believers each year and shape the annual rhythm of this place.
