Arkadia, Concert hall in Poznań, Poland

The neoclassical Arkadia building stands prominently on Plac Wolności, displaying architectural elements designed by David Gilly that characterize its structural composition.

Originally constructed between 1802 and 1804 as the first municipal theatre in Poznań, the building underwent complete reconstruction in 1879 after its initial demolition.

The venue provided a platform for Polish performers during the Prussian occupation and later transformed into a distinguished cafe frequented by local society.

The current building houses multiple establishments, including a tourist information center, the Poznań Kaiserpanorama, and the Eighth Day Theatre.

Between the World Wars, Arkadia contained a radio studio that broadcast programs until the outbreak of World War II.
