Browar Kasztelan, Beer brewery in Sierpc, Poland
The Kasztelan Brewery produces three main varieties of lager: Mocne, Jasne Pełne, and Niepasteryzowane, each representing different Polish beer styles.
The brewery began operations in 1972 with a production capacity of 350,000 hectoliters and established an on-site malt house in 1977 for international distribution.
The facility maintains traditional Polish brewing methods while operating as part of Carlsberg Polska, contributing to Poland's position as Europe's third-largest beer producer.
Visitors can sample the brewery's filtered golden lagers, which pair particularly well with traditional dishes such as fried chicken, pizza, and schnitzel.
The brewery's malt house supplied ingredients to international markets including Japan, Brazil, Germany, South Korea, Nigeria, and the Soviet Union during the 1970s.
