Dowództwo Wojsk Specjalnych, Military command headquarters in Kraków, Poland
The Special Forces Command occupies a modern complex of buildings dedicated to coordinating Polish military special operations and strategic planning activities.
Established on July 4, 2007, the command became the ninth NATO member state to create a dedicated special operations command structure.
The command maintains strong connections with international military organizations through joint training programs and operational collaborations across NATO countries.
Located at Tyniecka 45 in Kraków, the facility coordinates five specialized units including GROM, COMMANDO, FORMOZA, NIL, and AGAT.
The command achieved NATO special operations framework nation status in 2013, enabling Poland to lead multinational special operations missions.
