Dolina Siedmiu Młynów

The Valley of Seven Mills is a wooded area with a stream, multiple ponds, and old mill ruins spread throughout. The Osówka stream flows through the valley and creates a natural landscape that still shows traces of how people once worked here.

The valley's mills started operating in medieval times and were used for grain processing for hundreds of years. In the late 1800s, electric machinery replaced the water-powered mills and this way of working gradually disappeared.

The mill structures and ponds show how people here used water power to process grain over many centuries. Walking through the valley, you can still sense how important these water systems were to local communities.

A marked trail of about 4 kilometers starts near the White Forester's Lodge, which is easy to reach from the Głębokie tram stop. Educational signs along the path explain the history and nature of the area, helping you understand what you see as you walk.

The valley is home to rare animal species like grass snakes and northern goshawks that live in the protected forest. These creatures are difficult to spot, but their presence shows how valuable this place is for local wildlife.
