Grzebień, Mountain summit in Gorce Mountains, Poland
Grzebień is a summit in the Gorce Mountains reaching 677 meters in elevation. The mountain displays forested slopes on its northern side facing the Raba River valley, while its southern aspect opens to grasslands and fields.
The peak forms part of a ridgeline extending from Bardo through the Jama Pass across the Małopolskie region. This position has made it a natural waypoint along historic routes through the mountains.
Local farmers maintain traditional agricultural practices on the southern slopes, while northern areas remain dedicated to natural forest preservation.
Multiple marked hiking trails connect to the summit from the town of Rabka-Zdrój below. The blue marked route passes through Zaryte and crosses the saddle between Bania and this peak, offering a clear path for regular hikers.
The summit marks a natural divide where the mountain landscape transitions from the Gorce range into the Rabka Valley below. Visitors notice how the geology and vegetation shift distinctly on each side of this threshold.
